Filled Propane Tanks Needed for the Saints Joachim & Anne Parish Annual Community Festival August 4, 5 and 6, 2022. We are requesting filled, 20 lb. propane tanks, to be donated for our festival. Tanks should be marked with your name and be dropped off at Saint Eugene Church on or before July 15, 2022. Tanks will be available for pickup after the festival. Faith Formation is looking for a few Catechists for Sunday morning 10:15 -11:45 am and Monday evening 5:45 - 7:15 pm. We are in need of Weekly Catechists and also those willing to substitute as well. Catechists are needed in the following grades: Sunday morning: Kindergarten, and 1st, 4th, 6th and 7th grade. Monday evening: 3rd, 4th, and 7th Grade. Our Parish Family invites you to embark on an adventure called Discovering CHRIST. For some this will be a new adventure and for others it will be a journey rediscovering a familiar path. Discovering CHRIST is designed to deepen our faith, where ever we are on our journey, and help us apply our faith to everyday life. There are 7 weekly sessions and one Saturday Retreat in which we will enjoy a meal, video teaching, and small guided group discussion about the meaning of life with Jesus Christ. Discovering Christ is conducted in a comfortable and welcoming, family-like atmosphere. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays, beginning FALL 2022. Discovering CHRIST is designed to deepen our faith. This group, led by Deacon Dale DiSanto, is for people who have lost a loved one and are experiencing grief. This is a Support Group, not counseling. Thursday Afternoon Saint Michael, Meeting Room - 1:00-2:30 pm Please RSVP to Jan, 412-751-0663 so that we may prepare materials. If you need assistance in moving through your grief, this is an ongoing way to be supported during this difficult time. The weekly session begins with suggested topics, open discussion and ends with prayer.
